The Sunday Times Audible Short Story Award is the richest prize for a single short story in the English language, worth £30,000 to the winner. The winner of the 2021 award was announced on July 8, 2021. Huge congratulations to Susan Choi for her outstanding story, Flashlight, and to all of this year's shortlisted and longlisted writers.

The submission period for the 2019 award closed at 6pm on February 15, 2019. The longlist will be announced in June 2019, the shortlist in July 2019, and the winner will be announced on September 12, 2019.
